The staff at Dolffanog Fawr were very friendly and outstanding. I enjoyed my stay here. The location is amazing, just a short walk from Cadair Idris. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area near the Welsh mountains, a peaceful valley at the southern tip of the Harlech Dome, and close to various attractions like Portmeirion and Snowdon. Our double room had fantastic views and had everything we needed.

We truly enjoyed new-fashioned rooms with great facilities and the staff were helpful. The location was excellent and lovely in the the garden and met expectations😀

Had the double room which was fabulous with fabulous views. The hotel was in a stunning position next to many other attractions including Portmeirion, the Welsh mountains and tranquil valley at the southern end of the Harlech Dome.

The location of this place was perfect for exploring a stunning area, near south Snowdonia, a beautiful valley, and the coast. 🌿 the room was modern and tidy overall, with excellent amenities.

The breakfast was delicious and enjoyable, with many options available and exceptional staff providing service.

Had 3 nights in Tal-y-llyn, spent our time here lovely. Particularly good location and amiable staff were a definite plus. - the restaurant here was super, we both ordered excellent dishes.

I had a perfect stay for more holidays there, glad I've chosen it. The staff were amicable and exceptional. The location was beautiful to Tal-y-Llyn lake which you can see from the back of the property. Cadair Idris was easily accessible within 15 minutes by foot.

I liked my brilliant stay for 2 nights. the room was beautifully decorated and new-fashioned with a magnificent view over the hills and the lake. - the staff was affable and exceptional, and the beds were very spacious. - the location was perfect and quiet, close enough to the garden, Cader Idris, and the lake. - It was a great base to access all the benefits of the Snowdonian range. - the hotel was pleasantly off the beaten track, just as I had hoped.

The English breakfast offered a variety of food, something for everyone's taste. The room was well laid out and well-maintained.- The hotel has a stunning and lovely location really close to Snowdonia's mountains, an unspoilt valley surrounded by Snowdonia's mountains and beaches.

Lorraine and Alex - amazing hosts, great chef, divine breakfast. Large rooms, comfortable bed. Beautiful surroundings, like a fairy tale.

our valentine's day stay at dolffanog fawr in tal-y-llyn was absolutely exceptional. lorraine and alex were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great advice on local walks. the spacious room, delicious breakfasts, and stunning location exceeded our expectations. we will definitely be returning!
